Funding and Fundraising

We would like to express thanks to the many organizations, businesses, and individuals for the support given to Charlotte Dial A Ride since we started operations in September of 2005.

Support from the Provincial Government , the municipalities, and private foundations have been very instrumental in our success to date.

There are ongoing costs in providing transportation, and it is a constant undertaking to keep revenues flowing to balance the budget.

Mileage costs alone paid to our volunteer drivers in 2010 amounted to approximately $50,000.

Ways You Can Help

One way you can help is to become a member supporter. We provide tax deductible receipts for donations made.

Member Supporters Fee Structure

Supporter members are entitled to vote at our annual meeting. They pay annual membership fees according to the following scale:

Friend $25 per year
Bronze $100 per year
Silver $250 per year
Gold $500 per year
Platinum $1000 per year

Memorial Cards

If you wish to honor a friend or loved one’s passing by purchasing a memorial card in his or her honor, CCATA Memorial cards may be purchased at any of the Charlotte County funeral homes or at our office at 123 Milltown Blvd. in St. Stephen.
